Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing on behalf of our students at South Seneca Elementary School and our school's Reading Celebration Committee. We are located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State.
During the last 10 weeks of school our students diligently read to meet their reading goal to give money to the Read to Feed program. The students raised $264 to donate to Heifer International.
Our school would like our monetary donation to go towards purchasing a sheep, a goat, and a flock of chicks. Please consider our wishes when deciding on how best to donate the $264 that our students raised for your organization.
If you have any further questions or need more information please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Thank you for making a difference in our world community.
South Seneca Elementary School
For the 2nd marking period this year, 268 students met their reading goal. This means that we will be donating $268 to the World Wildlife Fund to help save endangered species. Great job, Readers!
263 students met their reading goal for the first marking period, so $263 is going to the Beverly Animal Shelter, along with an extra $40 that was donated by staff and the two blankets that were made by students for the BookFest project. Well done, Readers!
For the 3rd marking period, 255 students met their reading goal. We are sending $255.00 to the Cornell Vet School to help them with the animals they serve.
